AMAMI ANCORA SS26 COLLECTION
Maison Nencioni’s SS26 “Amami Ancora” is inspired by Gianna Nannini’s Amandoti, embodying a love that is both intense and contradictory. Austere lines meet sensual details, while cut-outs symbolize necessary wounds that reveal authenticity. Prints and fluid volumes narrate a dance of opposites merging into beauty and rebirth through love.
For Spring/Summer 2026, Maison Nencioni presents “Amami Ancora”, a collection inspired by Gianna Nannini’s song Amandoti—a story of love that is both consuming and renewing, a dance of opposites that ultimately merge into one.
The collection translates this tension into design: clean, austere lines meet sensual details such as cut-outs and white lace trims in contrast with black fabrics. It is the encounter of masculine and feminine energy, of structure and fluidity, of restraint and desire. Many pieces feature lateral inserts that create cascades of fabric, shifting from structured to flowing volumes, evoking two forces learning to move as one.
The theme of cuts runs throughout the collection: cut-outs become symbols of necessary wounds, openings that reveal authenticity and truth. This idea also emerges in the prints—black, irregular brushstrokes on white grounds that recall scratches and marks, suggesting the process of stripping away what is false to uncover what is real.
“Amami Ancora” is a visual narration of this journey: not a battle, but a dance of opposites uniting, creating beauty and rebirth through the most powerful force of all—love.
