I STOLE IT FROM MAMA'S "WARROBE"- FW 24/25
NENCIONI
Nencioni's FW 24/25 collection tells of a dialogue between the world of childhood and the adult one: how the child derives a sense of security from the parent's wardrobe, a sort of warrior's armour, the "war-robe", so the adult takes strength from the lightness and spontaneity which is typical of childhood.
The collection connects these two worlds, giving rise to garments with a firm flavour, jackets with structured shoulders and contrasting silhouettes with shapes that accentuate the bust and waistline.
Precious fabrics such as satin and cady, which constitute a leitmotif in the Nencioni collections, are however played by the symbol par excellence of childhood: the bow, here declined on lace, ribbons or in a metallic version in a game of balance between delicacy and strength, so dear to Nencioni's stylistic codes.
Among the materials there are also sequins in the colors silver and black, which give iridescence and light effects, in contrast with materials with a more raw feel: among these, denim with a thick weaving but rich in details and evident play of stripes between lighter and darker threads, as if it had been drawn by the quick and spontaneous hand of a child.
